Still Alive

He said to no one. I am still alive bots that view this page I got a few items in that I would like to do first impressions of as well as a few items to do light reviews on. Things to look forward to are Spyderco Manix 2 lightweight, Native 1, Ontario SK-5 Blackbird, Rat II in a beastly pink and Lost Planet 3 the first videogame to give me nightmares due to sheer difficulty. So have fun I'll be sure to post something eventually.

A "taste" of things to come.

Red Rhino Customs Ontario Sk-5 Sheath

 I recently ordered a sheath from Red Rhino customs bugger took a while to get here but there it is. --->

I like it for the most part there are a few things I would have done differently I would have gotten a different carry method either a dangler or an angle carry belt loop. This is my fault but I didn't ask for a drainage hole and the blade rattles a bit unsurprising given how svelte the blade is.

Other than the that the sheath is pretty kickass no major flaws everything looks good and for the most part is pretty clean. I will post more pictures tomorrow to give a better idea of craftsmanship.

I have for almost a year now used Dollar Shave Club and their Dorco brand razors. I had before that a Gillette electric razor of some make it was pita to clean and left a lot to be desired. As the story move along no more then 5 minutes ago as I sit and type this I have cancelled my "membership" to DSC why you ask? Because the swivelly head and multitude of razors made it a chore and a pain to shave. So after a year of annoyance I'm switching to safety razors my likely choice is the Merkur 39c I have the razor, brush, and stand picked out all I need is blades. So I'm off to research some of those and remember kids just because you can shave with a machete doesn't mean you should.

BlackWash Kershaw Zing

No one reads this so no one cares but Dick's and it seems they alone have the Kershaw Zing in blackwash with g10 handles. Link to Dick's So have fun and try not to cut yourself.

Edit: I like this knife so far it's not the orange American version with fluted blade but is still nice. The only problem I have with it is the thumbstuds are aesthetic and when you close the blade you can feel the torsion bar move. Overall if you need a small knife this one will do.

Nintendo 3DS XL First Impressions.

This isn't going to be very long or informative but I still wanted to talk a little about th e 3ds xl I bought a few days ago. When I got recieved it it came with 3 games Pokemon X, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Bravely Default (one of the games pushing me to get the system) all in all a nice group of games.



This thing is very large very large that's a leatherman rebar it's 4" closed. But hot damn is it awesome I honestly haven't been this impress since I got a psp and a copy of FF Tactics The War of The Lions I was awed and amazed at how fucking amazing the start up sequence looked compared to FF III's on the DS looked. And now I sit here at the first town (more of a city really) in Bravely Default and it looks amazing and as soon as you turn on the 3d everything is sharper and pops out at you.


But on that note the 3d is definitely not something you'll want on all the time sometimes it's useless on for things like: pokemon battles or the board map on fire emblem. But you'll want to turn it on during character exposition an new area panoramics.

Alright I'm done writing now go pick one up you probably won't regret it or go get a rebar you won't regret that ask sawman. Edit: Sawman sold me one of his magic Rebars and it is awesome.

Holy Crap!

I have never ever been one for writing a journal which this sorta is in fact I have an actual journal next to my bed that I haven't written in for over 6 months. That being said I don't post here very often I got a mto view and I haven't posted in months. Anyway I'll post more later I just wanted to say that eventually I'll have some reviews on things i.e. lm rebar,etc blah blah. Also I got a 3DS Xl and a game where there's a guy who fight's using a log yes a log as in a hunk of wood.
