Nintendo 3DS XL First Impressions.

This isn't going to be very long or informative but I still wanted to talk a little about th e 3ds xl I bought a few days ago. When I got recieved it it came with 3 games Pokemon X, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Bravely Default (one of the games pushing me to get the system) all in all a nice group of games.

This thing is very large very large that's a leatherman rebar it's 4" closed. But hot damn is it awesome I honestly haven't been this impress since I got a psp and a copy of FF Tactics The War of The Lions I was awed and amazed at how fucking amazing the start up sequence looked compared to FF III's on the DS looked. And now I sit here at the first town (more of a city really) in Bravely Default and it looks amazing and as soon as you turn on the 3d everything is sharper and pops out at you.

But on that note the 3d is definitely not something you'll want on all the time sometimes it's useless on for things like: pokemon battles or the board map on fire emblem. But you'll want to turn it on during character exposition an new area panoramics.

Alright I'm done writing now go pick one up you probably won't regret it or go get a rebar you won't regret that ask sawman. Edit: Sawman sold me one of his magic Rebars and it is awesome.

I lied! a review of Touch Detective 2 ½

Nooow before I start yes I lied I said I was going to review (badly) something else Crystal Bearers and...something else I can't remember what it was. Oh the Shrade SCHF1sm which I don't have because I'm poor. Anyway I just read the wikipedia page and saw that in the reception section some one was quoted that the game "is littered with confusing puzzles, uninformative AI, and an overall shallow experience.". I looked and IGN so really no surprise they hire idiots.

Moving on from idiocy this is actually a pretty damn good game considering I bought it on a whim (at a half price books)  thought what the hell it's Atlas what could go wrong? Possibly alot Since I've played very little Atlas games alas (or atlas) i was not disappointed. The art style is very good though a tad...strange and the story is just long enough and really not that hard I never had to look up a faq even though this is a point and click unlike some other game *cough*Secret Files:Tunguska*cough*.

Moving on to the end since I haven't posted in a while and this is pretty much done I'll go ahead and end this. want a better review go look up CGR or something. Until next time have fun, stay safe, and go touch something.

Videogame Review: Trace Memory

So this is going to be a post on a video game no idea which I was thinking of putting up a poll but... Well not kid ourselves I'm the only one hear so... Oh  I'll use Backloggery's fortune cookie thing! And holy christ monkey balls it's Trace Memory! I was hoping for Golden sun but I just re-got and replayed this game fairly recently so everything's pretty fresh in my mind.

Alright let's see (reads from empty piece of paper) this game was made by Cing bloody good company sad they filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and closed shortly after. They made a lot of good games a small list : Again (playing that right now), Hotel Dusk room 215 and well those are the only ones I played so Wikipedia link.

Protagonist and ds I mean DTS.
God I suck at writing...anyway Trace Memory is a point and click adventure sort of game with an aerial view. The gist of the story is you play as Ashley Robbins who is turning 14 (trust me it was a lot less weird when I played this years ago) who was raised by her aunt because her mother was murdered and her father presumed dead. I believe it was a few days before her birthday she receives a DTS (it's a bloody DS i tell you) from her father with a not telling her to come to Blood Edwards Island. I don't really want to spoil but this game may or may not: contain a DS, kidnap, hungry eyes, creepy uncle figure, memory manipulation, and/or a ghost kid from the 50's or was it 60's?
Could I have done a better job on this review? Probably. Should you play this game? Yes I'm surprised you don't have a tab to amazon open yet. Until next time have fun, stay safe, and rock out with your cock out! (just not in front of children...I'm looking at you Bill.)
